The College of Physicians of Philadelphia is a traditional Beaux Arts style building with lovely marble and woodwork and portraiture on the walls. Perhaps it’s the presence of the Mutter Museum tucked away on the first floor, but The College often attracts very non- traditional brides, who, when working with our planners and design team create stand out events. Rose had so many fun and whimsical ideas that gave us a lot to build on- literally!  Legos were everywhere! From Roses bouquet and Nicks boutonnière to Lego centerpieces and their cake topper!  Rose walked down the aisle to Florence + the Machine’s “Cosmic Love”, performed by two of there friends.  After the ceremony everyone went downstairs for a cocktail reception that was decorated in Legos with matching floral.  Dinner was hosted in Mitchell Hall while the garnish team flipped Ashhurst Hall into a Turkish Lounge.  The lounge was filled with colored glass lanterns, votive and pillar candles, and intimate seating surrounding the “Middle Eastern Tasting” dessert buffet that included spiced chocolates, baklava, kataifi, puff pastry cigar rolls, halva, torrone, and a selection of dried dates, apricots and fresh figs.  A scotch bar offered a variety of single malts.
