This September, Catering By Design is celebrating 36 years in business! In 1990, Founder Peter Loevy started Catering By Design in his garage, where he catered his first event and quickly fell in love with hospitality, food, and bringing people together. What started as a small idea in a garage has grown into one of Philadelphia’s premier catering companies.
Today, Catering By Design proudly creates unforgettable experiences for weddings, corporate events, and every milestone in between, from intimate celebrations with close family and friends to grand galas with 500+ guests.
As Peter and the entire CBD team celebrate 36 incredible years this September, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the people, parties, and places that helped shape Catering By Design into what it is today. We’re incredibly grateful to every client, venue, vendor, team member, and guest who has been part of the journey.
