Bolingbroke Mansion

Bolingbroke is conveniently located and features a quiet lawn and garden area with an attractive raised stairway and landing. A naturally suitable site for wedding ceremonies, the rear lawn also provides ample space for receptions and dinner or cocktail parties. With a lovely side covered porch off the living room, guests will feel invited inside to explore the historic mansion. The multiple interior rooms are great for intimate events, and a bridal suite can be found tucked away upstairs.

The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

The eight individually unique spaces our building offers can satisfy any of your event needs.  As you enter our historic building, you are greeted by the stunning Marble Rotunda. The all-white octagonal interior, framed by majestic columns, provides a sophisticated space ideal for receptions and pre-event gatherings. Accenting the rotunda is the grand staircase, which leads to the great halls of the second floor, and is perfect for photography opportunities.

ONE North Broad

One, at the majestic Masonic Temple, is a stunning world-renowned architectural wonder, featuring magnificent rooms based on themes of ancient architecture and sweeping grand staircases. The Grand Ballroom seats 250 for a sit-down dinner, and when combined with the Grand Foyer, can host 450 guests for receptions. The second floor marble Foyer can host an additional 200 guests for a reception “under the stars.”  Additional foyers, reception spaces and exquisite meeting rooms create the perfect setting for more intimate events.

James A. Michener Art Museum

The Michener Art Museum is a destination for art lovers with its one-of-a-kind collection of impressionist paintings. The Edgar N. Putnam Event Pavilion has been constructed to allow for private events on site at the museum, set amidst a magnificent sculpture garden. The all-glass structure has won a medal in design excellence and can accommodate a range of events with indoor and outdoor configurations.

Historical Society of Pennsylvania

Founded in 1824, one of the nation’s largest archives of historical documents, including over 21 million manuscripts, books and graphic images is in Center City Philadelphia and represents over 400 years of U.S. history.  Now with a newly-renovated reception hall, you can host family, friends, clients, and colleagues in the intimate setting of the Historical Society! A truly unique venue steeped in history and located in the downtown Philadelphia.

Tented & Off-Premise Events

Sometimes the best location for your event is your own backyard. But what if you want that home-party to sparkle with the décor and service of an elegant fine events venue? Our Full-Service Catering and Event Design Services can travel anywhere in the Delaware Valley and down to the Jersey shore. When FINRA hosted their board dinner at The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, displays in the Reading Room tapped into the history of banking in America. There were drawings & engravings of the First Bank of the United States, handwritten letters from the Biddle Family Papers, and photographs documenting the run on banks. Other various documents covered the founding of the Bank of North America in 1781, ‘The Bank War’ between banking opponents Andrew Jackson and Nicholas Biddle, and Jay Cooke’s work in financing the Union war effort during the Civil War. A truly inspired journey through history!
