Bolingbroke Mansion

Our back garden area features an attractive raised stairway and landing and is frequently used for wedding ceremonies and photo shoots. The rear lawn provides ample space for seating for ceremonies and dining or cocktails. The large side covered porch off the living room is also available to use as a dining area. The large side porch area can be enclosed to create a cozier space or add protection from the weather. Cocktails can also be set up on the side porch.

The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

The eight individually unique spaces our building offers can satisfy any of your event needs.  As you enter our historic building, you are greeted by the stunning Marble Rotunda. The all-white octagonal interior, framed by majestic columns, provides a sophisticated space ideal for receptions and pre-event gatherings. Accenting the rotunda is the grand staircase, which leads to the great halls of the second floor, and is perfect for photography opportunities.

ONE North Broad

One, at the majestic Masonic Temple, is a stunning world-renowned architectural wonder, featuring magnificent rooms based on themes of ancient architecture and sweeping grand staircases. The Grand Ballroom seats 250 for a sit-down dinner, and when combined with the Grand Foyer, can host 450 guests for receptions. The second floor marble Foyer can host an additional 200 guests for a reception “under the stars.”  Additional foyers, reception spaces and exquisite meeting rooms create the perfect setting for more intimate events.

Michener Art Museum

The massive stone walls and warden’s house that make up the core of the Michener Art Museum today began as the Bucks County prison in 1884. After a century of use, the abandoned and antiquated buildings were being torn down when the County Commissioners agreed to preserve the historic landmark and lease the land and buildings to house the new museum. After extensive renovation, the museum opened to the public in September, 1988.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Catering By Design!
Today our team was able to provide a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for 200 people at @rmhcphilly. We are grateful for the opportunity, for our entire multitalented staff, and for the staff and volunteers at Ronald McDonald House who welcome us into their kitchen and are nothing but hospitable.
We worked with @projecthomephl to coordinate meals for 888 people in need throughout Philadelphia this holiday.
Our kitchen team prepped, cooked, and packed an assortment of meals, sides, desserts and pies, and our warehouse team diligently filled 2 of our trucks and is currently out on the road getting every meal where it’s headed. We are grateful to have such a hardworking team, and happy to help with such a great cause!
