Our team is honored to have been part of the 150th Anniversary Celebration of The Philadelphia Masonic Temple at ONE North Broad! The 150th Anniversary Gala was a venue-wide celebration, with over 200 Freemasons and their guests enjoying entertainment and Pennsylvania-favorite food options.
EBE Talent’s Vegas Experience filled The Grand Ballroom with a mix of modern hits and classic tunes, while Golden Estate Entertainment provided smooth sounds to create a jazz club vibe upstairs in the Foyer Under the Stars. Philadelphia School of Circus and Airplay Entertainment brought aerial artistry to The Corinthian Hall with seriously impressive choreography. Elegance Quartet performed moving and dramatic pieces by European Freemasons Mozart and Haydn in The Renaissance Hall. Freemason Brother Robert Devitis, portrayed and interacted with guests as Brother Benjamin Franklin.
Our in-house floral studio, garnish, took advantage of the opportunity to source Acacia Flowers, an important symbol in Freemasonry, to adorn our grazing station. The Pennsylvania Cheese & Charcuterie Table consisted of Lebanon Bologna Cornets with cheddar mousse, Roasted Kennett Square Mushrooms Flatbread, and more. A raw bar with Chesapeake Bay and Long Island Sound Oysters, Snow Crab Claws, and Shrimp Cocktail welcomed guests in the foyer. We also passed several hor d’Oeuvres, including our mini spin on a Big Mac! Did you know this American staple was introduced in the Pittsburgh area in 1967.
For the main course, our ‘From Pittsburgh to Philadelphia’ station offered up multiple PA classics. An elevated Center City Cheesesteak Sandwich with carved filet, grilled red onion and truffled cheese sauce on a brioche roll, a Hot Pastrami Sandwich inspired by Primanti Bros., and cheddar or kraut Potato Pierogies. Meanwhile, our Lancaster County Station in The Grand Ballroom offered Chicken Schnitzel with mushroom gravy, spaetzle, and sautéed vegetables.
