Wayne Art Center hosted a Preview Party for the 27th International Juried Exhibition, Craftforms 2022, this past week! This exhibition showcases works in basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood.
As a bonus this year, in celebration of the International Year of Glass, The Wayne Art Center has added a companion exhibit entitled Beyond Glass for visitors to enjoy. The Preview Party included a Steamship Roast Beef Carving Station, Dim Sum, a Whole Roasted Salmon, plus passed hor dourves. For refreshments, there was an Ice Sculpture and Luge (created by Robert Capone) for Palomatinis, plus a bar for non-cocktails. Live Jazz from Phyllis Chappell was the perfect accompaniment to the night, as smooth sounds filled the building.
Craftforms 2022 runs through January 21st. View the online exhibition.
